I’ve played both free and paid games, and each has its perks. Free games are great for trying something new without committing financially, but sometimes they can feel limited in content or have intrusive ads. I recently tried the Gates of olympus demo as a free version before deciding if I wanted to invest in the full game. The demo gave me a good sense of the gameplay without any pressure, so it helped me make an informed choice. Ultimately, I think a balance of both is ideal, depending on the game’s value.
