Information Which maps ?-- English speaking only :-((

Hi,
I do not speak portuguese, but with my French and Italian, I can understand when I read it.

I am going to Brasil soon, (Rio grande do sul / Porto Alegre) and I would like to know which file I need to download to load the maps on my Garmin 60CX and be able to get directions ?

I don't really understand the differences with all the maps file.

Ok Christian,

First of all, welcome to Brazil!!!
In order for you to get the routeable maps of Porto Alegre (Rio Grande do Sul) you should download the TRU-RS set, which will offer most of cities in Rio Grande do Sul, Porto Alegre included.
However, take some precaution when driving around there for these maps are "on working phase" (like Beta software development) and not 100% reliable. I would say 70% ((.

Anyway, they will sure give you a lot of driving clues during your stay in Porto Alegre.

I went there: http://www.tracksource.org.br/modules/news/
and downloaded all the "Roteavel" maps , 4 of them.

It seems to me that the TRC-Brasil 5.02 2008.01.20 is the one that will give me most info, I will be traveling to carazinho, Passo Fundo, Santa Maria etc...

Where can I find the TRU-RS ? maps ,

That's correct, you've downloaded the road maps.
But in order for you to get the city map go to
http://www.tracksource.org.br/desenv/trc.php?email=
and get the ones you want for free (check the last updated date for each set).
